Re: Air conditioning.



Is there more parts to it than just that?  Lines, fan, water drain, radiator/heat exchanger?  Or did I miss something?

It looks interesting however it is a 12 volt compressor.  This eliminates running refrigerant lines to the rear however being 12 volts the current draw is very high.  This is not a problem however it will require a high amperage alternator.  This would also require a total upgrade of the electrical distribution system with the proper size wire going to the rear with current protection.  A large alternator will totally fry the electric system in our old cars if the original wiring is not protected properly with fuses or fusible links.

There are many good articles on problems with our electrical systems.
