Re: B Body sway bar question.

Jay, I used Adco bars on my 65 Satellite. I called the factory in NC and talked to the sales manager and ordered direct from them. I'm glad I did. The rear bar was right on and easy to install but a different story on the front. The one he sent would not work. I called him back and he said there were two different bars and he would send out the other on at no cost and to keep the 1st. I didn't have to return it! That bar wouldn't work either. I called him again and explained to him what the problem was. I asked him if I took measurements and call him back could he bend it. I also explained that I thought the difference was the K member( the width in the front before it starts to turn up on each side). I know there was differences in width of bar where it mounted on the K member. He said sure and to let him know how it worked out. The 3rd bar was perfect. I called him and let him know and he kept the measurements so he could make it again. I also sent him several pictures. I was completely surprised.  I had rebuilt the front end with Firm Feel's tubular upper control arm and used hemi  bars. I have 15 inch wheels. I have a 09 Charger with factory 20 rims and tires. I can honestly say my 65 handles better than my Charger. In a turn, its completely flat and I have to compare it to driving a go kart in a turn. Hope this helps. Sun, 17 May 2015 11:58:05 +0000 (UTC) "'Jay' via The 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse" <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
I wish to purchase a new sway bar for my big block 65 coronet what would be the ideal after market bar to use, that's easy to install and easy on the pocket.
Thanks,Jay Rod.
