Re: station wagon springs

Your best bet is to have them re-arched/rebuilt.   Any shop doing truck repairs will have a guy.  You will save $$ and you can have your wagon ride higher, lower, stiffer and so on.  On one of my 9 passenger wagons I had them add two inches and that's what it was when he was done.  It's been about five years now and I haven't noticed a change.  Also do you have that whine most MoPar wagons have that leads the owner to believe the rear axle is going out?  He can fix that with insulation, when he rebuilds them!

Subject: station wagon springs

Hey all, I am looking for new rear leaf springs for my '64 Belvedere 9 passenger wagon.  Any recommended places to buy from?  I assume the station wagons were a 7 leaf spring? I am not at my shop to check my car.

Thanks!
