I am re-posting Bill's excellent suggestion.

Re brake conversion. You won't be able to use the 77 parts because the knuckles are substantially taller. Go to AAJBrakes.com. Buy the conversion kit for 57-66 Imperial. Don't buy the complete kit just the conversion parts and then buy rotors etc locally to save on shipping. The AAJ kit uses Ford F100 rotors which have the correct bolt pattern for 65 Imperial and are also readily available. Works out great! - Bill P.
