The older 4 bbl were about 4-7/32” as opposed to the newer 5-1/8”.

1964 rb cleaners were no snorkles and I am pretty sure in 65 you could get the double snorkel on the 426 rb not sure on the b  motors the same round snorkles that were used in 66.  the 66 Plymouth rb 440's were rated at 365 hp due to the dual exhaust and dual snorkel air cleaner  15 more hp compared to the 66 Chrysler  and dodge 440  which was rated at 350 hp with a single snorkel air cleaner

Probably can use a  4BBL single snorkel air cleaner from a big block Mopar from up to 1965. Only 2 bbl carbs were on 1963 Polys.  I think 1961 was the last year for 4BBL 318 Poly motors.

What was the first year for dual snorkel Mopar factory air cleaners? Anyone know?

Thanks,
Gary H.
