I'm running the Super Dynomax on my poly. I had some imitation ones in before and I completely blew the ends out of them with a hellacious backfire. Replaced them with the real thing and there is a world of difference. They are really stout and can handle anything short of a stick of dynamite. As for sound mine are plenty throaty as Dodger, Ollie, Paul Lenneman and Mo can attest. Nobody ever said they were too quiet. I have 2.5" exhaust and an H pipe.  Personally I think the X pipe is the best thing since sliced bread.

Give them 1000 miles… These ‘packed’ muffs need lots of use to settle in to their stride don’t ya know???

Just got exhaust done on the Coronet. He installed 2.5" pipe, Dynomax Super Turbo's #17733, and an X-pipe. Anyone had any experience with these mufflers? I'm pretty sure they are the one's TTI sells with their exhaust system kits. Anyway, I gotta say I'm NOT impressed. It's so quiet it sounds stock. My old 2" system with manifolds & cheap turbo mufflers sounded better. I don't know how the X-pipe plays into it (I've never had one on a car) but I'm ready to cut them off the car already and I only got them put on Wednesday.

 

Any thoughts or comments?
