yes, after i rebuilt my engine, i did switch to caltracs traction bars with the split mono-leaf springs and i kept my calvert 9-way shocks.
do not use the traction bars and multi-leaf springs as they will fight against each other.

interestingly, i have not adjusted my rear suspension since converting to caltracs -- it just plain hooks up.  now i focus on the front suspension.  i ditched the 90/10 front shocks to keep from big wheelstands, and now i use santhuff shocks.  i adjust the front now instead of the rear.  go figure.
