Re: Poly motor mount question

Hi there Roland

I did have a good conversation with him. The information I got was that later LA mounts should fit but will push the motor and trans back 1 5/8".  This will need a new tranny mount.  Not sure I want to deal with clearance issues that may come from this so am hoping to figure out how to keep the motor in its current location.

Subject: Poly motor mount question

I have fitted a QA-1 tubular K member into my 63 Dodge Wagon.  It is intended for a 66 and up V8 so the motor mounts do not line up on my 318 Poly.  Before I start fabricating adapters, does anyone know a combination of mounts and brackets that might work for this combination?  Thanks!
