Re: gas sender

Question for all who is getting ethanol free unleaded.  It is not so rare around here. Costs about 30-40 cents / gallon  higher. . It is only 87 octane. What octane #  is the non ethanol you folks have been getting from the pumps? ...........................MO

I know where most of the stations are around here that have premium non ethanol gas, cause my Harley hates corn gas.  I can get regular non ethanol right here in town as well.  (Iowa).
My favorite place to get premium for the 63 is a town over that has a circle track.  They sell a lot of it so it gets replenished on a fairly regular basis.  Cost is usually 50 to 75 cents a gallon over regular unleaded,  which is generally 10 cents higher than the corn gas.  I've found the smaller the engine, the less it likes ethanol, and it's just all kinds of trouble in an old car as we all know.  I run ethanol in the truck and the Charger with no problems, but nothing else.  Never tried any of the additives that are supposed to help.

Here in Idaho, Sinclair sells non-ethanol 91 octane gas for $3.40/gal. whereas regular unleaded is $2.30/gal.  I think it’s worthwhile for my 361 V-8, because it just seems to run better on it.

Can I ask how much you're paying for a 5 gal. can, or at the pump. Here in CT. the prices are crazy high, can't afford non-ethanol fuel. Ethanol is not friendly to our cars at all, each year I'm hearing of more problems from our local cruisers.

Regarding ethanol-free gasoline, we use a smartphone app called Pure Gas. It works nationwide.

We use two gas stations that have ethanol-free fuel. One is a gas station / smoke shop. The other is a farm co-op.

Both are totally ethanol-free, so there is regular turnover of the product in their tanks.

Aside: We frequently take a supply of 5-gallon cans in our Nissan Leaf to go get gas for the mighty Mopars we're working on.

We figure our electric car has likely been to more gas stations than anyone else's EV in WA.
