Great idea, will see how the 72 318 motor runs for now. The 62 Fury 4dr has the original 318 Poly still in car, plus all drivetrain, pretty complete car, someone did take bench out and installed some bucket seats, not sure year either. Can't wait to get cars home.

How "hard" to do that swap depends on your skill level and bank account level. :) It is doable but first, to toss another
hat in the consideration ring. You can find a poly 318 engine reasonably priced and work it over to as much as you
desire now for street driver with torque. Unlike previously, many Poly speed parts are now available (intake, stroker kits
etc.) that will make that engine quite, quite peppy! And good eye appeal too. Several members here have gone that
route. That Poly will bolt right in and you can use the pushbutton transmission if you still have it behind the 1972
318.
