RE: 1964 Dodge 440 Max Wedge Lightweight



Granted the memory is a distant one, I believe that the parts pictured were for a 1963 Plymouth. One might find the ad in a late-1963 Popular Hot Rodding or Hot Rod magazine.

Thanks for posting the picture. I too recall seeing the advertisement you speak of regarding a hanging scale but if I recall correctly the ad was for numerous aftermarket fibreglass pieces, hood, trunk, etc.

The attached photo shows the "skinny" components. I also remember a   Chrysler ad where there was a hanging scale 
with the lightweight parts on it showing the weight saved. Can't find it right now though.

Yes, as Mel pointed out, you could order the Max Wedge engine in any B-body if you got the dealer to check the appropriate order boxes. (1962-1964) 

8 3/4 (with tapered axle) is what I recall. 

Can't help on the glovebox question.
