Location: Apple Valley, CA | Ok so on my 1959 Dodge Sierra Spectator I have a 440. I rolled the dice on the $90+ ebay shorty block hugger headers. They look great except the flange is warped BAD! I mean like close to an 1/8". I figured it was still worth a try. They fit great with exhaust studs and clear the power steering box no problem. They sinched up tight and with lock washers are not going anywhere. |

Location: So. Cal | I care. Are you talking about the versions with collectors pointing down, or with collectors pointing down and back? |

Location: So. Cal | Here are your pictures. You just needed to make them smaller to be able to post them up - less than 250Mb is the limit. I am wondering if the shorty headers that have the collectors pointing toward the back will fit on our cars. Anyone know?

Location: So. Cal | So they work? Good news, because I like that design better. I didn't pay much attention to big blocks back then because I didn't own any at the time. I got my first one with the '58 DeSoto and now again with my '60 New Yorker.

Location: NorCal | Notice the difference between the E-bay offering and Herman's, on Herman's the front and rear tubes sweep up to clear the plugs and the E-bay offering has the front/rear tubes come straight out of the flanges. |

Location: northern germany | that hedman shorty does NOT fit lowdeck bigblocks in unibodys and the collector is a crappy design that needs to be changed. i cut mine appart and changed it completely so the pipes do not bend down just after the exhaust ports and the collector is on the outer side of the T-bars, like stock. could have build one from scratch for less money.
to the op, i'm not yet convinced, i guess the problem will be the exhaust pipe from the headers. |

Location: Apple Valley, CA | I have no spark plug clearance issues. Im running 90* boots for what its worth. These ebay ones are short, which helps with getting everything to fit |
