Wise Old Village Idiot Posts: 3591 Location: Dellslow, West ("By God") Virginia ! | Ian, I asked him that, along with what is the motor cubic inch. He said he didn't know that the wipers were mismatched. He is not a MoPar guy. He sez the motor is 395 cubic inches. Selling for a quick $$$!

Location: The Mile High City | This looks like it has the sonoramic badges on it? Is there something rare about the 395? I thought the rare engine was the sonoramic commando.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7207 Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | The engine is a B engine, either a 361 or 383 I guess the 395 would be the torque rating, 395 lb-ft. The badges certainly look like the Sonoramic- Commando badges, but doesn't that badge usually indicate the cross rams set up ? Whatever the car used to be, it certainly is a beauty now.

Exner Expert 19,174 posts. Neil passed away 18 Sep 2015. You will be missed, Neil! Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | I think that that air cleaner decal confirms that the car is power-rated to drive on U.S. Highway 395 (which runs from SoCal to CAN; 2,750-ish very scenic miles). The painter got some overspray onto the trunk insulator panels. From past experience, it takes about an hour to mask off a trunk underside, properly, where the tape will extend under the metal framing supports, so that no paint will get onto the "asphalt impregated" liners, even behind the areas where the supports would stand "out", from contacting-against the liners. Veteran Posts: 239 Location: Stanga, Gotland Sweden | I don´t think the exterior color are correct, in 1960 Plymouth had a lot darker red called plum red poly paintcode PP, the only other red on 1960 paintchip are the valiant red (also paincode PP) that was reserved for Valiants... Still a super nice car, that I´d love to own. Regards.....Roger (1960-plymouth-pg01.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 1960-plymouth-pg01.jpg (115KB - 87 downloads)
