I had one of these in my 66 olds 88 convertible. It makes the speaker that is in the middle of the back seat on the convertible sound weird. I guess it is for a fuller sound, before they had stereo.

Poor man's stereo.

It is a Mopar item, and it would be of some bragging-rights to an owner.

As the partial-view of its wrapper states, it delays, and changes(?) the signal to the rear speaker, so that you hear a
spatial-ness to the sound inside the car.

I presume that it wouldn't differentiate an AM signal, from an FM one.
