I asked a company to make me two new when they had some time over............................... that was 4 weeks ago and they didn't even start on them, so I bought some material and made them myself. I want to have the oem look without all the rust pittings. The original one was severly rusted out, but still held on for all those years. There will also be new balata belt for a good look and function.

The hanger itself had very much surface rust, but, you're right Sid - it will still work for many years. It would not please me to have one nice and one bad.

Now they will be primed and painted silver - there's no surface treatment company close to my Place. I have a friend that can fix almost anything that is possible to fix, but He won't work on anything but his own stuff. He hates to charge anyone for the time it takes in doing so. Personally, I would gladly pay for that time because I know it would be done right...............................MO
