Me and my buds were junkyarding yesterday , came across something I didn t know what it was . It was a 65 -66 F250 2wd , in the driveline there was a box . Driveshaft in and drive shaft out . It had a 4 speed , probably with a granny , but it had another shifter with a nuetral , 1 click forward , nuetral , then another click back .
Is it an overdrive or a high low , its definatly not a pto cause there was no other shaft except for the rear driveshaft . If it is a high low , would it work as an overdrive .
How does it work with a nuetral ? Can someone post a pic of an older overdrive unit . I forgot to get a pic I was so excited at what I thought it was . The truck has been there a while , I just never looked at it before .Thanks
