Location: pensacola, fl | I'm getting my 59 Coronet out of storage for some warm weather fun and I don't want to run the risk of having to use my spare tire. I'm not sure if it is original, but its never been used and still has a sticker on it proclaiming the tires are made of "tyrex cord" My question is, what wheel should I look for to mount a "spare" spare tire in the event I can't find a 1959 Dodge wheel.
Thanks.

Location: North West Jorsey | As I recall, the bolt pattern is the same for all the B and C bodied cars. If it's only going to be a spare, a 15" will work until you can get to a tire shop. I have 15's on my 62. Plenty of room. My 60 Imperial had 15's on it, no problem. It's not 4 wheel drive so there is no worry. Any deep Mopar 14" should work too. I may have a spare rim coming from a 62 New Yorker soon. I have to wait and see if there is a spare rim. I can let you buy one of them. It will be here in a couple of weeks. Drop me an email to remind me. |

Location: Los Angeles, CA | My '59 has rims from either a 55 or 56 Chrysler on it. My spare tire is on a rim from a 60's F**d.
