The museum is featuring a display of all 1956 cars including a Desoto Pacesetter convertible and a Chrysler NYer convertible (you can see the rear end in the Fury picture). Did you get some pictures of the other Mopars?

The batteries died in my digital camera. I was lucky to get these 2 FL's. I believe that next year,2007,the same room will be devoted to 1957 cars,as they are going to do a 50year anniversary every year. I can't wait to go back!!! The whole experience was worth the 150 mile drive. Next year we plan to take the 55 during warmer weather as my heater is shot. Terry

Thanks for posting these shots, this is awesome to see a glimpse of this display as I had heard about it from a friend who was there not long ago.

He didn't know about the 1957 show next year though, very exciting. Sounds like a great place to visit, especially each of the next five years if the pattern holds. Here is the website if anyone wants to check it out to make the trip...

Great pics!! Next summer, when my wife and I head out that way to visit her side of the family, I will have to take a day and go visit. I used to go to all of the car shows that were held in Norwich. Beautiful cars and scenery!!!! Pete.

I have to admit that even though the 56 Fury is one of my all time favorite cars, the Desoto just totally blew me away. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! Terry
