For those of you playing along, Angie and I went to the 20 week ultrasound today. The baby is healthy and a girl! And yes, I'm still scared out of my fool mind!

Congrats; girls ARE harder to raise than boys; boys: ya just go let them play in the dirt, and they don't expect anything/everything
from you, all the time!

Now, you gotta go be a role-model, for the rest of your life.

Brina,
If you take the time to raise your daughter right, one day with some luck,
you'll have a daughter like my three:

Smart, sweet, beautiful, courtious, able to change their own oil and filter,
do a tune up on their car or truck, change their own tires ( or slicks which
ever the case may be ). And one day you may even get a phone call saying,
'Dad I raced a Tran Am last night and I hit the rev limiter at 109 mph. How do
I change that?"

Good Luck

Brian let me start off by saying congrats on the little girl. I know what you are going through with the being scared part I was there myself just a few months ago. My little girl is now 3 months old and is the love of my life, our life. It does change alot of things in your life but I think it is for the better. There is nothing in the world like holding your little one while they sleep in your arms. Congrats again and enjoy every second you can with her.

That's great news Brian mate, congratulations to you and your wife ........... Just make sure you keep your stash of " Shine " out of reach, I tell ya, ( from experience ) once they start crawling, they will grab anything they can lay their tiny hands on, and nine times out of ten, it will go straight into their mouth..... :

Actually, "straight-into-their-mouth" is a GOOD thing, as eating dirt, etc., develops their immune systems.

Also, you want to have several pets get close to her, to develop immunities to allergies, too.

Let her get dirty....

I just bought her a baby clothes thing (I got a lot to learn) with a 57 Fury on it at a car show today. She doesn't have a chance!

So, it is "Mini Copper", not "Mini COOPER", right ?

When in uniform, I have been called "copper" many times.

Mebbe she needs a gun and a badge ?

Sons are your parents getting even, but daughters are God's revenge for all the fun the father had when he was single.
Actually, if you raise them right, they bring home other men's sons who can be pressed into service for tasks like taking the garbage cans out and bringing them back in, hauling the salt downstairs for the watersoftner, mowing the lawn, and tasks you'd have to beat on a teenage son to do.
Voice of experience--my daughter's boyfriends did more around here than I ever got a son to do. Hell- she got my sons to do more than I ever got them to do, and I had the car keys and the check book.
