Saturday night's Sock Hop should be cool, with Fabian and Bobby Vee. The 3.50 price seemed right out of the 50s and very reasonable. I decided to buy my ticket online, since Paula advised that it may sell out. Unfortunately, Carson Attractions, the outfit that is handling ticket sales, has decided to gouge us well-meaning folks. In addition to a 2.50 service charge (Paula's email said it would be 1.50), they are also charging a 3.00 mailing fee. So now our 3.50 ticket has ballooned to 9.00. Still reasonable, but Sheesh !!!

I wrote to Paula, early-on, after the sock-hop was announced, and asked about direct ticket purchase.

She said that tickets WOULD be (natcherly) available at-the-door , unless the event sells out.

From my past experience with Carson Attrations (read: bait-and-switch, on the viewing-seats, and the costs thereon) I was NOT interested in paying
them any more of my money.

I can NOT imagine that this event will sell out, EARLY, and, the tickets can almost-certainly be bought at the Connie Center, on FRI,
while we are waiting-in-line, for hours, to get IN , to see Virgil !!!
