Sid...

There is a Lt. Blue 2-door Chrysler (1961, has slanted headlights) up in Michigan near where I have a trailer on a lake.
I drive by it a lot when I am going up there.

If you wish, I can take some pictures, and also see what the guy wants for it (I assume it may be for sale).

I can also see what the actual condition is. Looks OK from no apparant crash damage situation, but does have some rust on the lower leading edges of the left side rear quarterpanel in front of the wheel well. Have to look at trunk and underbody to tell extent of condition. Body and trim looks complete, and rear tailights are there (not broken). Glass all there.

Cannot tell what the interior looks like from the highway, and do not know if it runs.

BUT, it is a 2-door coupe with the large rear glass. I suspect its a Newport, but MAY be a New Yorker.....

Who would have DREAMED, back in the early 60's , that 2-door POST cars would become VERY desireable machines???

thanks hank, if its a short wheelbase car (newport/windsor) pics would be nice! right now i'm busy restoring a 60 desoto we saved from the crusher ($260) couple of months ago. its very very rusty. wheel arches, quarters, trunk, floors, etc completly gone. it should be back on the road by the end of next year...

Sid...

I will up in Michigan near it end of this month.
Will try and get some details, and of course, if the guy is truly interested in selling it, PICTURES!

PM me with an email address of yours that can take file attachments, and we will go from there!

It looks to be the same body as Billy Jack Ebare's 60 Adventurerer, only a 61 (slanted headlights), and its a Chrysler. if that helps....
