Extreme Veteran Posts: 499 Location: A proud Canadian | Well, that's one person's opinion... It's no different than any other site that you sign up to... this one included, ebay, game sites, etc...... Welcome to the world wide web! Took me 3 mins or less to sign up and join. Just thought it'd be neat to welcome a new group perhaps to this area of our hobby! In my group I started, you can post pics of your car, view other cool pics, and just be part of a common interest on a pretty cool sight! Just like here... If your already a member of Facebook than it's easy to join up, if your not, than you have to create an account than join.. Boy, we're getting lazy in our old age....LOL Check it out, if you can spare a few moments at.... http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2463047268 you'll be glad you did!

Extreme Veteran Posts: 499 Location: A proud Canadian | Hang in there Gary... The response/confirmation email should have been instantanious. Perhaps, (and this has happened to me before) you may have to re-submit. There may be something wrong with your first attempt. What has worked for me (if I have a hard time registering for whatever reason to a website) in the past is to try an alternate email address if you have one.. That always seems to do it... Good luck.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 499 Location: A proud Canadian | Thank's Jeff.... Finally a voice of reason! I thought that when I posted this thread that it would be more to let people know that I started a group on that awesome new site that everyone knows about.. instead, I had to become a defense attorney against the obvious...LOL... I forgot though that we are a stubborn group here (me included). That's why we love/own these Forward Look cars so much... Because it is the road less travelled... Give this site (Facebook) a try though folks. Registering should not be a problem @ https://register.facebook.com/r.php Then join my Forward Look Mopar group and post some pics/brag the hell out of your car...LOL The reason that I started this group is because I was bored on one of my lunch hours at work and I typed in under groups on facebook, a variety of popular car(s) i.e. mustang, corvette, etc etc...Every type of car I typed in had an interest group on this site... except ours!.... well, now we have one too.... The cool part is, if you look under "Groups" and type in "Mopar" my group is at the top of the hit parade.... I love it! Edited by Billy-Jack Ebare 2007-07-16 9:47 AM

Expert Posts: 3575 Location: Netherlands | BJ, guess I was wrong. I'd never heard of the site or name, and only until I tried to check it out for the 3rd time, it got to me that it's probably some kind of MySpace-clone website. Those things are not my cup of tea. Good luck with the group though Edited by BigBlockMopar 2007-07-16 10:18 AM

Extreme Veteran Posts: 499 Location: A proud Canadian | Thanks, Herman.... It seems to be picking up some steam; Have 20 members at this time... I joined a couple of "muscle Mopar" groups and kinda advertised my group on their group's message board.... Might get a few that way! I just thought it'd be neat to introduce a few new people to our part of the hobby.... so far the response has been good... I'll keep you posted! BTW, if you change your mind we'd love to have you join.... Edited by Billy-Jack Ebare 2007-07-19 9:29 AM
