Location: Ocala, Florida | Finally wheeled the Coronet under her own power last night. Ended up putting an entire rear end from drum to drum in it. Brakes bled up in 10 minutes! Amazing, after all the trouble I had with the Plymouth's brakes last year. I swear I bled 20 gallons of fluid through those. Dodge did just fine, purrs like a kitten. Just a note to anyone who is going to the Mopars at Don Garlits show Nov. 3 and 4..............please come by and see me and Terri, Johnny G and Mike C. We will have two vendor spaces, (not sure where in the field yet, but I will get the kids to make a forwardlook.net banner to hang up) Mike will have a 57 Plymouth sedan for sale in the car corral as well. My 58 Belvedere hardtop and 57 Dodge sedan will be in the show, display only, (not in the condition for judging). I will put a sign on the cars with our vendor space on it when I find out what it is. Hope to see as many forwardlookers there as possible. We only live three miles away from the show, so if anyone needs anything, they are welcome to rest up or hang out. |

Glad all the hard work and tears paid off! I KNOW you are glad to get it on the road. Wish me luck with mine, as I am now into the "putting it back together" phase!

BTW...wish I could be there, but only so much vacation, and my car in Michigan is calling me to install the engine and tranny...promise to take some pics for you guys, though! |

Mike, see you at the show............selling all kinds of forwardlook stuff (nothing high dollar of course) Should have a complete 325 hemi to bring down for sale, lots of odds and ends, most of it is leftovers from parts cars we've done. Whatever nobody asks for from ads on here, or does'nt sell on the bay, goes into the swap meet bin. If the 361 is good in the '62 Chrysler parts car I have, I may pull it and bring that down there as well. We do have enough stuff to fill two 20 x 20 swap spaces however. |
