Quick Production Update
Current mood: accomplished
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

Production on the Documentary is coming to an end. We've had screenings the last two days for Tulsarama Committee members and friends, all to rave reviews.

The two disc set should be finalized this weekend and sent off for mass duplication early next week. We've managed to pack the set with loads of extras for all the car fanatics out there, and have included some great stories and interviews that didn't make the cut.

Lots of ideas and plans are in the works to promote and distribute the DVDs for sale. Keep checking back for news over the next few weeks.

We hope you all will enjoy the finished product. We've worked tirelessly for the past two months to bring you something outstanding. We combed over 40 hours of footage and edited nearly 1000 man hours. Its been a great ride, and we're glad the light is finally at the end of the tunnel.

They’re here...
Current mood: excited
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

The first batch of DVDs arrived today! They'll soon be in the hands of the Tulsarama! Online Store, which should have them for sale by Monday the 22nd.

The Official Website was updated a while back, but it will be expanding early next week to coincide with the release of the DVDs. There will be some new info including: photos, historical info, news on the current state of Miss Belvedere and a brand new trailer.

On a side note, some of you may have noticed that buriedcar.com, the original site for Tulsa's Buried Belvedere, has been down for a while. Although we are affiliated with Tulsarama! and the Tulsa Historical Society, we are not in control of buriedcar.com. Unfortunately we told everyone at the event to keep checking the buriedcar.com site for info regarding the DVD's release.

Everyone who signed up for the mailing list at the event will be receiving a postcard notification informing you of the DVD's availability. These postcards will direct everyone to The Official Documentary's website where we will have a link to purchase the DVD from the Tulsarama Store.

Finally, you can buy the DVD at the Tulsarama Store. Got mine ordered already. Quick question: Will this be the end of the Buried Belvedere story for some of you, or will the story continue?

Just be sure that your player has a Fast-Forward control, to avoid my acting debut, as part of Mark Hash's soapy-drama segment,
regarding his all-manual 57 Fury, where/when it is brought out of its enclosed trailer, behind the 'Tree, on WED 6/13/07, after
we had returned, from having witnessed the removal of the vault's lids, earlier, that day.

That's where we-all happened to meet up with the documentary producer, Charlie Allsip.

And the rest, as they say, is HIS-story.....

Well, I may have made the outtakes-segment, of the DeeveeDee!

I don't think that they shot any 'film' in the Lobby Bar, so, you might not be in any of the segments....

It has about five minutes of historical footage which I hadn't seen before which is rather interesting, also some footage of Friday afternoon before the unveiling when Boyd's boys got hold of the car in the arena! Nice five minute segment on Mark Hash's Fury....Of course, the clip of you guys being interviewed about buying the 59 Chrysler made it also!

(The video on the week's festivities is about an hour long; there's another 2 hours of material detailing the open and invitational car shows, interviews, etc....)

I think it's worth purchasing!

Watched the video this evening. They did a nice job at capturing the event. Some of the exclusive footage we haven't seen previously. Still have to watch the extra features, but I did get to see the segment on Mr. Finzzzz, Mark Hash's 57 Fury. Most surprising was Boyd Cotterpin's remark that the car should be left 'as is' and put in a museum.

Everyone should buy this DVD.

I got mine wed. it's Kool watched the whole thing some good shots of our UK folks Clive and Charlie, Ronbo made it, along with Mark, Andrew, (Aus) and in the middle Neil. Several Kiwi's I didn't get to meet but they were from the same area that Glenn B is from. All in all pretty Kool the interview with Mark from Oregon was great. We really need something like that again.
