Anyone have a photo or illustratuin that shows the way the spare properly stowes away in the trunk. I'm most curious about where the the jack and lug wrench stowes.

I see the bracket where the J Bolt would attach ( I think) followed by the spare tire, jackstand, and finally wingnut, securing the spare. But what of the jack, and lugwrench?

May seem like a silly question, but... I have no shortage of those.

Correct, same as my 59 Coronet, seems to be the only way.

I had the jack in the tailfin and the wrench under the spare for years. I stuck the jack under the wheel a few years ago and the rattles got fewer. Coincidence?
