Expert 5K+ Posts: 5139 Location: cornpatch county, Southwest IOA | I know this isn't Forwardlook, but many of you have Mopars without fins that may be interested. It is a 1964 Dodge 440 body style. I found this car not far from here, but it had come from California and had the "black plates" with it. Back in the day these and the Plymouths were the most fierce things on the street-strip in several different classes. Through the year I think they were available with all the big blocks-383-413-426 wedge- and 426 Hemi. These were the start of Funny Cars. I bought it less the engine and tranny, but did buy an A833 four speed from the seller. I will build the 413 engine that I have previously asked questions about here on the board. I want a low RPM -high torque engine. I am thinking two 4 barrel aluminum intake ( anyone have one of these to sell?) It will occasionaly be a "stripper". Now looking for an affordable bellhousing.. I will be needing alot of stuff for this project- do any of you have a parts car? Or have parts stashed away? I welcome PM 's on ideas and info.......................MO

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7809 Location: Williams California | That'll be one hot car, Steve. Outside of the one fender, it looks like the body is in fairly good shape, without a lot of rust. A few years ago, there was a gent from Medford, Oregon that bought nearly every Mopar from '63- '71 from the northern California area, and sold the body parts at Carlisle. I haven't seen him for several years, and his telephone # has changed from the one that he gave me. His name is Tom Sehloff, one of the members here may know how to reach him, although he never really dabbled in the FL cars much. Keep us posted of your progress!! ---John
