I just found this site and had to join. I bought this 1960 Savoy 4 dr from the original owner about 3 years ago. I got in a bind on $$$ and sold it 1.5 yrs ago. I always regreted selling it knowing it was leaving the state. Well I went to the 1st car show of the season 2 wks. ago and saw a friend of the person I sold it to. I was talking to him about the Savoy and he said it was still in Little Rock and the guy wanted to sell it . Well I said I'd buy it back and he flipped open his phone and 2 minutes later I was the owner again for the same price I sold it for($2800.00). It is a slant 6, 3 on the tree, Two tone paint, heater, back-up lights, glove box lock, undercoating, radio delete. The owner added: radio, wheel covers, seat covers. The seats look brand new under the plastic. It came with original window sticker, Sales invoice(he traded in a 1954 plymouth Plaza 2dr. $350.00 trade in value), and the glove box contents form the dealer. It had been wrecked shortly after he purchased and it has fury emblems and chrome on it which I will take off to bring back to original. It has 18K original miles at least thats what the original owner told me.

I've tried to download pics from photobucket but all it gave was the jpeg info. I'm computor challenged and not learning fast enough. Any help in downloading would be great. I was at the junk yard today and bought a '60 2dr savoy parts car and looked at a 2dr '61 Belvedere parts car. Will the rear and front windshields from a 2dr Savoy work on my 4dr? I'm trying to pick up parts just in case something happens. This is a great site!!!

Out side of Little Rock. They have been picked over but still some goodies. The '60 has a tree @ 14" growing in the engine bay. The floor pans are gone. Boy I wish it were in better shape,I'd like a 2dr. There is a complete '55 2dr Coronet (not a hemi)thats I might buy. Looked for my build sheet on my Savoy under the back seat but wasn't there nor the data card.

Hey, Dorsey; welcome aboard.

What you might do, is send your jay-pegs to someone who has already posted pics on this website, and ask him
to do you a favor, and have him post them for you, on this thread.

Clive is my personal posting-buddy, but he does 'get' a post-credit for his efforts. Thanks, Clive!

Hmmm - a Savoy w/stainless Fury 1/4s.

Dig it - the lines are complimented nicely.

I just got lucky and bought six 7.50x14 Goodyear Super Cushion Bias wide white walls on ebay for $400.00 shipped. By the threads I've read I took the plunge and bought bias tires. Look at this ebay # 120398122802 and tell me what ya think. Thanks

I thought I would update this thread with all of the paper work that is original to this car. I also took some new pics with the original hub caps that came on this car. The original owner Mr. Mike King added the deluxe wheel covers as documented by his sales invoice. After Mr King passed away I was at the yard sale and found these dog dish hub caps taped together. They were priced at $5.00 for 4 caps.. I knew they went to this car. I also got a bunch of chrome wraped in paper that also went to this car. I'm just lucky that I was able to buy this car back after my foolish sale. Today was a good day for a photo shoot at "The Old Mill" in North Little Rock. This Mill was built in the early 30's and was featured in the opening scenes of, "Gone With The Wind" .
