Is it bad to mix the green anti freeze with the red antifreeze ? Got less than a gallon of each of each .

Well, the "Red" I believe is a sugar based coolant, while the "green" is just plain 'ol Ethylene Glycol...........I've done it, but don't rec. it...

That "Red" stuff is NOT, I repeat, NOT a 100K mile coolant, and it DOES clog radiators....I wouldn't even use it at all.....

Are we talking Orange anti freeze? If so don't mix it. It is OK in a dry system like when you finish an overhaul, but if there is any green anywhere in the system it i'll gel.
