I told my brother in new jersey about a 57 firedome for sale in Penna. he went out and looked at it and bought it. It is a 57 firedome sportsman (4 dr HT) with 60,000 orgional miles. it is a 2 owner car with all the papers even the window sticker. he said it in rather good shape other than sitting the last 2 years. he paid $2200 for it. he had it trailered home and is in the process of getting it ready to start. i'll post some pics of it as soon as i get some.

One interesting note about it is it has the 4 headlight option as it is listed on the window sticker. How rare is this for a 57?

Hola Gary

I am glad that he has joined in getting a S-25 De Soto "Firedome". He should enjoy learning that in 1956 the common De Soto had the 330 cubed engine and the "Asphalt Eater" was the 341. Now 1957 production starts and the "common" De Soto has the 341 cubed engine and the "Asphalt Eater" is now 345 cubes.
