Bought a 57 dodge sweptside with no vin tag plate . The vin is on the front frame rail. Was wondering if this is what people go by or if there's a way to have a vin plate made ?

57's did not have vin tags, only the frame. Only the piece of paper on the glove box

You could make one, maybe call your state up and tell them you want another vin tag on the body?

Location: York County, PA		My 75 stepside has the vin number on the drivers side door. They put them everywhere they had a notion to put them.
