Description...

Here's a good old 1959 Plymouth Fury 4 door with 80,088 original miles. Purchased new here in Denver at Standard Motors. The car has been parked for many years and needs restoration. Obviously it was well cared for and parked in a garage most of its 50 years plus. Has a running 318/automatic, slow starting, does smoke a little when it gets going. Engine actually has plenty of power but many years of sitting, valve cover gaskets and others leaking, etc. Push button tranny works, a bit slow responding. Brakes are not working, no pedal, been using the emergency brake to move around.

The car is mainly complete and many trim pieces and emblems are in very good condition. Very original under the hood, air cleaner on down. Sheetmetal looks original except the fenders have been replaced. Little rust for this age of mopar, has rust holes on the inside edge of the headlight bucket area (see pic). There are rust holes on both rockers, don't know the extent of it due to the rocker moldings in place. That's about it for rust except some in the trunk. The original headliner and carpet were removed at sometime. All headliner bows are in place with surround trim in a box. Floors are very solid, no rust, that's an amazing fact if you know mopars!! No rust through in the lower quarters althought some blistering has started. No rust in the outer trunk drops (extensions). Trunk is mainly solid, some scaly rust and a few small holes and weaker metal on the passenger side. Decklid is exceptional condition including all original black paint on the underside. Stainless trim in general has dings, especially the front of hood piece. Comes with the two trim pieces missing from the passenger rear door. Car was obviously hit on the passenger side. Suspension appears original and needs replacing. Looks like the seats are of a 60's vintage. Has original radio, not working. Lights not working, need some wiring help.

Please review the pics and email me with any questions before bidding. Please remember you're buying a 50 year old car that needs restoration, no warranties either expressed or implied. This car is being sold in this auction with a bill of sale only however a broadway title can be obtained by the new owner. I would like the buyer to pickup the vehicle within 2 weeks after the auction. If you need more time, we'll work it out. This auction is open to all buyers, domestic and international.

Starting my 11th year on ebay, 100% feedback,
