1961 Chrysler Newport Convertible

One of the last Virgil Exner designed chrysler Big Fin cars from the 60s in addition to being extremely rare at a total production of only 2,135 units.

-This car won the prestigious "mobil fuel economy run" in 1961 at 19.99 MPG

- Only 46 of the 1961 newport convertibles have been accounted for

- Owned by gentleman from las cruces new mexico for many years, i have the original 1961 new mexico title

- Extremely high quality restoration

- White with red basket weave interior

- Original golded lion 361 CI V-8 engine with push button tourqeflite automatic transmission

-Pulls and drives as showroom new

- No rust, original sheet metal car

- Meticulously & correctly restored to a high standard

-Power steering and brakes

- Power top works flawlessly

- Original Am radio converted to AM/FM stereoby S&M electo-tech

- Comes with custom made car cover and original manuals

-This car has been restored top to bottom with nothing overlooked

- Recast steering wheel in original terra cotta pearl at a cost of $1,500 alone
