Location: Niskayuna, NY | Hi all,
In the New England "Forward Look Local Regions" forum, I just posted an invite and details of a Mopar Cruise we have been organizing each year since 2004 when 15 online Mopar pals and I decided we had enough Shows where you just sit in hot parking lot all day.
So we invented the NEW ENGLAND MOPARTS CRUISE.... (named after the website where we met www.moparts.com, and I trust you won't hold that against us!)
It's basically a day of meeting and driving together through some beautiful areas of NH-MA-CT-VT, etc. The route varies with each event. This year we start at Hampton Beach, NH and end up at Turner's Falls, MA.... (via Manchester, Nashua, Greenfield, Han****, Jaffrey, Winchester, Northfield). There's some highway driving and urban streets, but mostly leisurely secondary roads in the countryside.
The Cruise stops at the published locations about every hour to chat, relax, gas up, eat lunch, talk shop, freshen up - etc. Those who attend are thus free to join the Cruise (or leave for home) anywhere along the way...
ANYONE is welcome. About the oldest Mopars we've had to date are a '62 Valiant /6 and a '62 Fury 2dr sedan, although we did meet a stunningly restored '29 Dodge last year.
Please consider joining us and refer to the Local Region forum for the details!
Thank you,
