Location: So. Cal | Can anyone tell me if the control arms (upper and lower) are different between 6 cyl and 8 cyl cars? I know that much of the front suspension is different for the V8, but are the control arms different too? TIA |

| The '56 Fury used '56 DeSoto front suspension components instead of the Plymouth stuff when it came with the optional 12" brakes and dual four barrel. D500 did too. 55-56 Mopar control arms all interchange with minor differences, and Chrysler/Desoto spindles bolt up to Dodge/Plymouth control arms. 56 Chrysler springs can be put in Plymouth if bigger engine is installed.
