Description

I really wanted to go all the way with this beauty, but my employment is kind of shaky right now so this baby must go. This is a 1960 DODGE DART PHOENIX 6 cylinder that purrrrs like a kitten and has the famous push button transmission that shifts smooth as silk.Unfortunately, the transmission has a bit of a leak, so the level must be checked periodically. Better yet, just fix it if you plan to make it your daily driver. The fuel tank was drained of all it's old gas and gets it clean fuel supply from a 2.5 gal plastic gas can that is comfortably tucked away under the hood. I would strongly recommend cleaning out the original gas tank before using it to feed the car. The motor runs too good to spoil it with dirty gas!! I recently this week put 4 BRAND NEW white walls on the car.(car is pictured with the old worn blackwalls..these were tossed out). Adjustable air shocks were installed on the rear and the master cylinder was rebuilt. The brakes still need a proper bleeding and should not be driven any distance without doing so. There are no brake fluid leaks and the wheel cylinders and brake lines all appear to be good. Floors are pretty solid except for a small area in the drivers floor pan. truck is solid and the frame is solid. I drive this around the neighborhood and it really gets a lot of heads turning!! This car was purchased from the original owner who passed away and the car just sat in the garage. It was very easy to bring this car back to life...Now someone must carry on it's legacy....Bid...win...enjoy!!

GETTING A LOT OF QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ASSESORIES>>>HERE'S WHAT I FIND....LIGHTS WORK, WIPERS WORK, HEATER/BLOWER MOTOR WORKS, RADIO WARMS AND LIGHTS UP, BUT SOUNDS STATICY...MAY BE ANTENA RELATED?? HORN WORKS VIA AN AFTER MARKET STYLE "BUTTON" WINDOWS ALL ROLL DOWN AND UP. THE IGNITION KEY DOES NOT SEEM TO EASILY FIT THE DOOR LOCKS...OIL MAY SOLVE THIS BUT I DO NOT WANT TO CHANCE BREAKING THE KEY. GOOD LUCK TO ALL AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
