I went this past weekend to Oklahoma to get my new 57 Windsor project. It's a good place to start. It has some places that are going to need to be replaced. My plan is to make this one look like my dad's 57 Windsor that he had years ago.
I'm using my phone and the picture is too big to download here and it looks like a 57 Windsor 2 door hardtop that, so that should be good enough. |

Location: The Republic of Texas | I'm collecting parts complete my 58 Windsor and save it as a future project.
I'm excited about my new 57 Windsor. It has dual antennas, sweep trim, standard back glass, and bumper guards, factory tinted windows.
I'll be dumping the bumper guards, adding New Yorker power windows, 392 hemi, 727 transmission, Imperial A/C; power antenna + another 57 Imperial power antenna, custom period correct interior. |

Location: bishop, ca | On/for that 57 (Windsor?) power antenna, be sure to re-use its inner-fender, as your NON-power
antenna-mast only needs, and has, a SMALL, round, access-hole in the inner fender (to allow your hand---
barely--- to enter into the inner panel and service the base of the antenna assembly).
The power antenna's inner fender has a LARGE, long-oval access panel in it, which allows you to maneuver the much
larger power antenna mechanism into/outta the inner fender.

Location: The Republic of Texas | The antennas are mounted in the fins. I don't have to fool with the inner fenders for the 57.
As far as the 58 is concerned, I'm going to put it back 100 % original box stock. |
