I hope the wheelcovers were about the 3rd or 4th thing you noticed here.

No idea what they are stock for. This is a NY'er ragtop I have not seen before.

The wheel covers are from an American-built 1962 Chrysler. (Canadian-built 1962 Chryslers used modified 1961 Dart covers).

The first thing you SHOULD notice is that the front door trim is too low at the front and too high at the rear?   A hammer and block of wood would fix that.

Have I been a car guy too long?

In 1957, all MoPar's used a 14" wheel. The Imperial Division went back to
the 15's in 1959 and Chrysler only used the 15 x 5" wheel as a non-stock
optioned vehicle for the next decade.

I suspect the restorer put the trim back exactly the way he found it . . . .

The gap around the door, front and bottom, seems the be equal, although the back section where the rear panel meets the rocker panel does not seem to have any room for adjustment.

The fit and finish issues are very apparent on my early '57 Saratoga. I plan to try to adjust things to look better when we start on the exterior work.

I am still unable to see this "car" you all speak of! I would say that the woman with the "come hither" look is in her early twenties and quite attractive.

The rear view mirror should be quite a bit more errect in my opinion.

Mike,

You and I think alike.

I think the whitewalls might be a bit "engorged" here.

White walls are a little oversize.

Guys, look more closely at the hubcaps. They are not '62 Chrysler. They are '56 Pontiac. See hubcaps.org for reference.

In 1956, they would have been 15 inch.

My Saratoga trim fit is actually quite good; but door fit is a different story....

(I just noticed there's no circular hood ornament on the convertible....I guess I was just looking at another "ornament" in the pix!)
