Member Posts: 27 Location: Blum, Texas | Ordered my AJJ kit this week for my '56 Coronet. Anxiously awaiting the arrival. Talked to Roger on the phone a few times seems like standup guy. Anyone used this kit on a like model car?

Elite Veteran Posts: 774 Location: Atlanta GA USA | Heavy, I just drove a '56 DeSoto with AAJ front discs. Stops great and pedal feel is excellent. (sorry if you're reading this for the second time). I expect you will be pleased. Edited by 1956DeS 2010-02-14 7:47 PM

Anyone used this kit on a like model car? Seem like alot of people here are buying the AAJ setup. I put them on my car last year. One of the best upgrades I did. You will be very satisfied with the brakes. No more drums on the front....

Walter passed away on Jul 29, 2014. We will miss you, Walt! Posts: 5358 Location: Heaven Above (Formerly Oklahoma City,OK) | Just finished installing the front discs on my '55 CRL. Took my time, "measured twice, cut once", used his directions and it went quickly and well. Did have to redrill the ends of the spindles for cotter keys. Uncle Walt

Member Posts: 27 Location: Blum, Texas | Well finally got around to finishing the swap. It was fairly easy. I did have to massage 'em a little to gaet everything to line up, no biggie though. I took it for a test run sittin on a milk crate ( seats at the upholstery shop) and could tell a big difference. Haven't been able to do a propper shakedown but I feel good about it so... Sorry really didn't get any pics of the process.

Expert Posts: 1590 Location: Scottsdale, AZ | Mine was 140 and I thought that was small! But, it's funny, after wanting to get to the big city since my tens, I now kind of wish sometimes that I was back in a small town.

Member Posts: 27 Location: Blum, Texas | An update/praise on the brakes. We made a trip to Austin(about 450 miles roundtrip) last weekend for the Lonestar Roundup and the brakes worked/ performed flawlessly. Much improved...
