Location: Naestved, DK-Denmark | Hi all you Mopar freaks out there.
I have a 1957 Dodge Regent (Canadian build), with a 303 cid engine in it.
-The engine was seized up, and after dismantling I need one exhaust valve, and 2 pcs. connecting rods("full floating pin").
-Now, I´m a little confused about all these Mopar/Chryco numbers....
Is this (poly)"A" engine really an early "LA" engine,or what ?---if so, can I use 273 or a 318 cid rods, and valves ?
Can anybody tell me the dimensions on the rods, and the valves for this engine, and/or the Mopar/Chryco numbers ?
-I sure hope someone can help me,so I can get the parts that I need to re-assemble this engine.
Thanks in advance,
Stig Hansen,Denmark.

Location: Rushville,IL | Here is an even better link. This book contains everything you need to know about these engines. At first I thought the $20 was a little high, but it turned out to be well worth it.

-I can see what you mean.....the book gives an answer to "alternate connecting rod choices"...and many more, so I guess you are right about the price ; it´ll save me a lot of trouble having this book.
