Our world traveller, John Quinn, just returned from Carlisle, PA where he attended MoPars at Carlisle. I will let him tell the stories! He sent me these photos to post -

Can't blame him! Wherever I go, I try to take pictures and save pictures of '58 Dodges.

Chime in, John - and tell us the story!

Why waste time taking pictures of those ?

There must have been some 58's to point the camera at !

That '60 Dodge D500 looks a lot like one that the Smallwoods used to own...

Well, I did stay with the 59 Plymouth guys in Philly before heading to the show. We arrive with two SF Sport Coupes and one SF Convert. Earl Ness owned the black SF and the Blue Convert and he let us have the Convert for the weekend. What a guy!

The red 59 SF was Dan Morton's car. Ron and Matthew Keij were with us from Holland. Matthew barely shared the driving duties on the convert!!!

We used our FL Tent with web guru Dave holding court and keeping us hydrated and meeting each other.

I only had my cell phone camera so I was kinda limited. See the Video U-Tube montage of all the FL cars in the Carlise section of the announcement threads. better yet I will copy and paste it here.

We had a blast driving the 59's on the expressway going at 75 to 80 miles an hour with no effort or strain on the cars. Gotta fininsh my car!!!

You know we have been campaigning with the PA Turnpike Commission to reroute traffic from the twin tunnels to the Carlisle exit during the show so us "Roadbums" could have private use of the world's longest dragstrip.

What a fantastic photo-montage! I liked how he grouped the photographs. That looked like a lot of fun.

Even the person who did the photo-montage noticed the three '59 Plymouths lined up in a row! What a sight!
