Elite Veteran Posts: 769 Location: Oley, PA | They look pretty nice. Is there any chance that you can provide some higher quality pictures? I'm sure they are great, but it would be nice to see what we are buying. $195 seems like a fair price if they are truly well made, but seriously, does it really cost $27.00 to ship?

Expert Posts: 4533 Location: Ripon, WI | Say what you want about these guys, but I know them fairly decent. True mopar guys that really want to see these old cars shine. They were crushing out all the non mopars cars first back when they were still a yard. Mostly into the parts business now though. Good guys all the same.

Good guys all the same. Thanks for the info. I know it sounded like I was trashing them, but really I'm just looking for a little more info so I can buy with confidence before plunking down $222. I've been burned a few times in the past buying stuff online and mail order as I'm sure we all have. If you say these guys are good, that goes a long way for me. Has anyone actually seen these new door handles? Or seen and/or used other repro stuff from them? As I said, if they are really good, I'll happily buy them. On the other hand, if they're not going to hold up, I'd rather avoid the headache.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8947 Location: WHEELING,WV.>>>HOME OF WWVA | no new parts versus new reproduction parts . why would anyone quibble over 27 $ . i feel its a good day for our hobby that someone took the time and effort to do such an undertaking . you can't get em rechromed for this total price at a good shop ! i can see a set of these in my future , maybe two .-----------------------------------------------------------------------------later

Most companies wouldn't bother with the small volume of sales they would get from this limited customer base. It costs a small fortune to set up tooling and production for these parts, so in reality, the price is quite fair. ---John

Location: Parts Unknown | Duane, I am falling in love and want to know where to send flowers. OK, maybe that is a little extreme. Thanks for the service. I could use good repop door handles for my 58 DeSoto and mirrors for the same.

Location: Under the X in Texas | Very fair price on the '60+ door handles as I know from experience what time and expense is involved with low volume repro parts. Hoping that Van's will also consider the '57+ Chrysler and DeSoto door handles. I'm a buyer as soon as they are ready!

Expert Posts: 2289 Location: Eastern Iowa | If you folks are into sheet metal, may I suggest lower front 1/4's for 60 thru 62 Chryslers? Maybe from the center of the wheel well forward to include the door jamb dog leg and OEM lap joint for 2 door cars. Dave S.
