Expert Posts: 1506 Location: Colo Spgs | Hola All While Jessica is here in Colo why not open our best smile and let all of us meet in a central to all of us location ( like Fox Run Park ) for some burnt Hot Dogs and Hamburger's. Or a group trip to "The Rambler Ranch". The Natl Airflow Club is having a Natl Convention the 8th to the 11th of June in Durango. The 25th'ish of June the Natl Corvair Club will be in Denver ( and take over the parking lot with fins ). Rodger & Gabby COS

Elite Veteran Posts: 1053 Location: Ny | While I wish it were under different circumstances, I am looking forward to hanging out in Colorado this upcoming year. I have pictures of me as a little girl in Durango, when my parents took me there. I think I was 5 or 6 at the time. Can't wait to make those same memories with my little girl. I'm not really familiar with the "layout", so any "tours" are greatly appreciated. I have to admit that I am highly interested in the Rambler Ranch considering I still own my 60 wagon. Wish my Desoto could be there to greet you all as well, but I will just have to live vicariously through all of your fwlks right now. Edited by Jessica 2010-12-11 12:44 AM

Location: Parts Unknown | As an officially titled "Security Escort", let's review security and emergent situation protocol before we put Jessica in a bad situation. Do you have an IED plan ? An EOD team on standby ? Will we be clearance badged for each zone to be moved through ? What is the current muster on the area and what steps are now in place to neutralize threats ? What sort of transport armor is advised ?

Expert Posts: 1288 | Doc, Mike, and Jessica -- Unfortunately, Chrysler didn't have EOD capability from 1929 until 1961 or it wouldn't have produced the DeSoto (I've heard talk that it and the Edsel were the two biggest IED's to come out of Detroit). To paraphrase Churchill, the DeSoto was a modest car with a lot to be modest about. Now, on the other hand, scripture portrays a Plymouth model as the Almighty's favorite as He drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden in a Fury! Sorry, guys, but the DeSoto brings out all the bully in me. Joe Godec

Expert Posts: 1288 | Gee, I also forgot that when Christ drove the "money changers" out of the Temple, He also did that in a Fury.

Location: Parts Unknown | Been tied to the latrine these last couple days with a certain "Fury" of my own. I think I rounded the corner last night and just might suit up to go out and bring a different kind of Fury on anyone that might want to get stupid on us today.

Location: Parts Unknown | Good Lord. 3rd day of puking and 20 minute latrine rotations for "that other problem". I feel like SH!T. Saw the medics yesterday and they gave me some pills. I slept mostly through the night, but am right back to the big bellyache this AM. Few things equal neusea like this. Someone kill me.

Those Chrysler / Plymouth folk have envy issues! Roger, you are coming to the Tri-State again this year right? I am happy to bustle someplace nearer to the Springs if we can all get together. Is King Chef still open for business? It makes the Butcher Block look roomy and spacious by comparison. Good eats, though!
