Expert Posts: 1488 Location: Florida | The ad is as funny as the pics!! 1959 Dodge Coronet 1/2 ton pickup MUST SEE - $2500 (Guthrie Ok) Date: 2010-12-10, 7:27PM CST Reply to: sale-ebdgf-2106520684@craigslist.org COLLECTORS!!!!! I have the car you have been waiting for. This is a 1959 Dodge Coronet 1/2 ton pickup. Your probably thinking, there is no such thing, Dodge Coronets aren't trucks. This is a custom classic car that you have to see to believe. I bought this with the intention of rebuilding it, but you know how that goes, something always comes up ( for me it was twins ha ha). So know I have to sell my dream, but what was my dream can now be yours. I am asking 2500 on her. She runs and drives, but like all classic fixers there are some problems nothing to serious, The transmission slips and the breaks are bad. Other than that its a one of a kind car/truck that all your friends will be jealous of. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY. Dont mean to be rude, just want someone to get the best deal they can. You can reach me on my Cell Phone, but I work 6 am till 4:45 pm. Ill try to return your call ASAP. My number is (405)- 471-9804. Thank you guys cant wait to hear from you. * Location: Guthrie Ok

Maybe the sweptside might have given the whole styling concept a bit more flow to it. In the mid 60's I saw a 55 Chry done this way. The body work was exceptional and it really looked nicely done. Jerry Does look like he did a good job putting it together. I wonder if it has the 59 Dodge dash, if so it would fit in good here in KY..... take your cousin out on a date in your 59 coronet pick em up truk... hee haw!!!!

Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | The truck would look better with a rounded-off back-panel, and with the longer 2-door-model doors on it, and, maybe, with a longer box on it, to balance out the length of the front fenders. Bo Malefors, in AZ, had had a similar 59 Dodge pick-up in his yard; it may have had finned quarters on it; can't recall, but I've got some photos of it.
