Why does 'Epay' strike 'again', while it's just the same old dirty greedbag who tries to con suckers into buying his overpriced crap?

Havent noticed if it is the same person, but it seems alot of old mopar stuff is outrageous on ebay..... and for a used dirty fuel tank. I have the reproduction and it is great.

Isn't the reproduction gas tank 23 gallons capacity?

Most FWDLK'ers have 20 gallon tanks.

Can someone explain the orientation of the two(?) orifices on this tank?

That big hole should be for the sending unit, but, what is that (apparent) other
opening---or is it an illusion?

Hey the guy think's he has gold! No one is holding a gun to our heads to buy this stuff. Its a buyers market and if somebody has a lot of money and wants an original part SO BE IT! I have some stuff I have stored for years as spare parts for some of my cars ,and some of this stuff is not replacable . So when its gone its gone! HAPPY MOTORING! Victor.

Actually, the auction's second pic shows this tank to be NOS, and in fairly good physical condition.

This gas tank has apparently been lying around for many decades, with no special handling involved in its storage.

If you look closely, you'll see what its OEM appearance (probably-) was---not very shiny, as compared to the
mirror-like finish that you'll see on some over-restored cars, nowadays.

One thing that I'm curious about is that bulge-looking crease across its lower middle area.

Is that 'feature' truly an OEM condition, or has this gas tank received some minor damage during its being shuffled around
over many years?

As far as its fair market value, I'd say that it might be worth the asking price if the thing were to be in perfect un-blemished
condition, which it is not.
