Location: Under the X in Texas | I tried to purchase the '60 Windsor convertible from them 3-4 years ago after some correspondence. Actuall made a trip to the museum, jacked up the car to get a GOOD look at it. Wanted it. Talked and talked and talked and talked and they NEVER would give me a price that the owner would accept for the car. I finally just had to tell them that if the car was priceless then there was no point in my making an offer so I did not. They may say the cars are for sale, but I honestly don't think they are. Expert Posts: 4654 | For kicks, I called the museum today. They said that the outfit that services the website has not got around to update yet, and that they are a "non-profit" organization and did not post those cars for sale just to get "attention". They do have 4 cars for sale, no FL cars though. The '57 Desoto conv is not in the collection any more, either sold or returned to the owner, they did not know for sure. | ||
