| Does anyone have a source for the worm housing seal on a 1957 Dodge Custom Royal 325? Have checked out RockAuto, Napa, Andy B., etc. and have had no luck. The orginal part number from the 1957 parts manual is 1820033. This started leaking and left a big puddle of power steering fluid in the floor board. I didn't want to drive you anyway! Ha ha I'll say it again, the car is cursed, but we love it.
Thanks for your help and guidance and look forward to seeing everyone at Carlisle, PA.

Location: NorCal | An old Trostel seal number is 55842S but I imagine it's obsolete. You might try finding a seal by size, the dimensions of the 1820033 seal are:
OD= 2.147
ID= !.875"
Thickness= .3125"
I think the OD is gonna make it hard to find, kinda unusual.

| Take measurements of your original seal, it's highly likely there is an exact modern seal available. Just no cross references saying so. Rockauto.com seals list the dimensions of the seals for you to match. |
