Location: Twin Cities MN | Anyone know if there was some kind of badge or emblem above the ashtray. Looks like holes are about wo inches apart and an inch or so above ash tray, so right in center of dash. Look like factory holes since appear painted through and wondering what it would have been? |

Location: CA | Does your car have a small emblem actually on the revolving ash tray which says "dodge?" It's a small two prong emblem about 3 inches or so in length which should be there on all cars. Post some pics of your car, it would be helpful when you have specific questions to see what you're looking at.

Location: Twin Cities MN | Yes, my car does have the emblem on the ashtray as show in this pic. I don't think it was a dealer emblem since the decal(?) of the dealer where my uncle bought it in 1961 and 2 years later traded it in on a Pontiac Ventura, is still visible on the trunk lid.
Yes, I should take some pictures but have the car fully-tarped and deer flies are just swarming at my place in July so been huddling in air-conditioned garage cleaning up engine parts. Dropped off the block and heads to be pressure-tested, magnafluxed and evaluated today. |
