I need info. on where to buy a Preferably new Radiator and Heater core for my 56 Dodge V8 auto. trans. custom royal. The rad. shop just told me that my radiator needs a complete Rod Out repair for $150.00. I'm hoping that a fellow Forward Look guy can steer me onto a good source for a new RADIATOR for a good price that will fit my car. Thank you, Bill

$150 is a good price, new will be much more. Getting a standard modern one to fit is the problem. Your top hose is 1-3/4 and bottom is 1-1/2.

Agree. 150 is a good deal if it is a new core and he does good work.

New radiator will cost in vicinity of $600.00. You may get yous re-cored for $300.00 to $400.00. At least those are representative prices in Oklahoma. I've been there recently with my '55.
I got lucky and mine was able to be boiled nd rodded at $200.00.

What engine? I just bought a Be Cool Dodge universal Al radiator with bottom hose on drivers side and top hose slightly left of center for my 60 Dodge for $225. I had to fab a bracket to get it centered in my header panel - drove the car once with no heating problems, but could not get use to that shiny modern looking radiator in the old car. I had my original radiator recored and would sell the Be Cool.
