Member Posts: 18 | nobody mentioned some of the more important things pertaining to the integrity of this car.... look at the trunk photos.... where are the body mounts!!!!!????? you can see the trunk is made from sectionally welded panels as patches [what you can see where no matting is present- they forgot to drill holes for, make the structure of, or covered over the rearmost body mounts. look at the side pic- i say poorly installed JC whitney rocker caps. as for the seat inserts, it may have been plant-related, a nice original 'very i looked at 10 yra ago had the same seat insert material [with tinsel] as the 58 sport suburban i just did, and 3 58 belv's of mine. ironically, i have the green dogbone inserts in a 2dr wagon- the seat covers [upholstery] carrier mopar tags, was told by prev owner they were NOS items that he bought and had installed by his upholsterer.... there were WCFBs on the 58 318 with ovals, i recently learned thought 58 output is still 290hp, the cam specs are different than 57, thus jetting/metering is slightly different for the adjusted powerband that yields the same horsepower, at lower RPM... i thought both 57 and 8 318 dual v800's had the .405" lift cams.... non-fury dual quad engine in 58= golden commando 350. if this was any variant of a fact dual quad car, it would have a 150 speedo. the seats all have sweat stains or weather stains on the inserts as well, door panels are incorrect, warped, and basically suck... sad someone paid so much at auction, but it the ones with deep pockets that pay for shiny things, with no knowledge of the vehicle itself.... may be hard to see... but here's the green dogbone in a 2dr wagon, the frt seat would be the same as a 'vert or hardtop [folding] but wagon rear seats are unique...

Member Posts: 18 | funny- looking at the pic now i think the samples posted earlier tricked me! this has more of a shape like S's... but the same rubbery shape-on-fabric material though- seems more waterproof like you'd want for a 'vert just in case!.... too many cars to remember the little details!

Location: The Mile High City | That certainly seems to be the case with this seller! With most of these dealers, you can expect a certain bit of puffery in the description, but perhaps this dealer takes it a bit too far - or so their building reputation indicates.
