Expert Posts: 1480 Location: Australia | Hello all, For Sale is my 1957 Chrysler Windsor 4dr hardtop in original unrestored condition. 354 Poly 2 barrel, Torqueflite, PS, PB, Solex green glass, radio and jiffy jet. The car is the amazing factory colour combination of Shell Pink with a black roof. Paint appears to be original. We drove this car 2,500 miles last year on our US road trip. While the car is mechanically sound and runs and drives well, it would benefit from a once over as she has been sitting since our road trip trip last year. The car is showing 93,000 miles but currently the speedo is not working. The body is super solid for a 1957 and also very straight, but she has some rust in the rocker panels. She has been a Washington State car her whole life and came out of long term undercover storage. The car got a brand new set of 5 factory correct Goodyear Super Cushions at the start of our roadtrip. The interior of the car is all original but will need some work. The carpet has been replaced at some point. There are some items of factory paperwork with the car. Car is currently located with friends in Denver, CO. Car has a clear title. We are asking $8500. This is my personal car, so please email for more information/ photos. Expert Posts: 1480 Location: Australia | Hello StillOutThere, The trunk was loaded for the trip at the time of the photo. But the rear springs were indeed weak and they have since been replaced. Adriana | ||

Expert Posts: 3155 Location: NY & VT | That's a beautiful car Adriana, how can you part with it? The '57 Chrysler grille was the best ever on a FL car imho, and I love the simple straight stainless side trim and the color combo, I'm considering it for my '58 Windsor 4 dr hardtop. So do you think the Shell Pink has faded somewhat with time? It looks considerably less intense than the paint chips I've seen... but I have a hard time with chips and I know as a designer you have a good eye for that sort of thing. I think the car is painted in paintcode L (Desert Beige)! My New Yorker has that color and its a really hard color to determine. It looks pink in some light and purple/beige in other.
